About the event
Opening to participants in 2027, the International Fume Hood Challenge will recognize scientists, green labs staff, and facilities teams working together to improve sash management practices. Winners will be selected for their behavioral change achievements and energy savings impacts. Join us to discover how to win the Challenge!
We will also reveal a major upgrade to our Labs2Zero program to reduce energy use and operating costs in laboratories globally. The upgrade adds 13 new energy efficiency measures to the AIM Report automated energy auditing software. For the first time, the tool will incorporate savings from recommissioning, i.e. fixing controls degradation, a major opportunity in most lab facilities that often goes unquantified. Come to the session to understand why these new calculations matter and what you can do with them. And you’ll also learn about a new Labs2Zero training that will allow you to earn a professional accreditation.
