A Bit About Me

Elaine Guenette is a Mechanical Engineer and a Principal at Smith + Andersen’s Ottawa office.  She has been in the industry for over 15 years, and focuses on Government, University, Healthcare, and Mission critical. Elaine specializes in providing sustainable mechanical solutions to clients and developers to reduce the overall energy use of buildings and their carbon footprint. She is constantly researching new technology and applications for improved sustainability.

Elaine has a Bachelor of Science from Waterloo University and is a Professional Engineer and LEED Accredited Professional.  Optimistic, motivated and decisive, Elaine is a natural leader whose involvement makes all the difference on a project.
