Vibration performance is a critical issue in the development of laboratory floors. It is particularly challenging when converting from other uses (e.g. office-to-lab conversion) or when increased sustainability of new builds is desired. Active Mass Dampers (AMDs) offer a step-change in vibration performance by actively generating forces that counteract the vibratory motion, resulting in huge reductions in response.
