About the event

Controlled Environmental Rooms (CERs) have been considered critical spaces in the Pharmaceutical/Life Science worlds and so energy efficiency has never been a top priority. However, that does not need to be the case on all projects.

In this presentation, Labworks will illustrate with case studies how good engineering and early planning can produce more energy efficient CERs without creating risk for the end-user. The presentation will also touch on the use of Refrigerants in the mechanical systems serving these rooms, and how changes have been made over the past few years, but more improvements are possible.
